ROC Game Dev is an organization dedicated to fostering a community of game creators in Rochester, NY. Our mission is to provide a local platform for game creators at beginner, amateur, and professional levels to learn, share, and collaborate in all aspects of building games.

Get Involved

Come to a meet-up 

We host monthly meetups at RIT and at our downtown space. These events include community announcements, a “show & tell” of projects, and time for networking with one another. Come participate in person or remotely from Twitch. These events are free and open to the public.

Social meet-ups 

These are informal gatherings that are held monthly. We usually hold these out in the community at local bars or coffee shops. Our Social meetup is free and open to the public.

Coworking meet-up 

We meet up with one another and work on projects! A great time for feedback, playtesting, and helping one another out with our work. Our coworking meet-ups are free and open to the public.
