ROC Game Dev is an organization dedicated to fostering a community of game creators in Rochester, NY. Our mission is to provide a local platform for game creators at beginner, amateur, and professional levels to learn, share, and collaborate in all aspects of building games.

The RGD Space

The RGD Space is located at Sibley Square in Downtown Rochester. It acts as a HQ, event, and co-working space for the RGD community. Currently membership is $45 a month which gets you 24/7 access to the space. You also gain access to “member-only” channels on our Discord server. Much like our friends over at Buffalo Game Space and Tech Valley Game space, we are aiming to have a central meeting location to bring together local professional, hobbyist, and student game developers.

That said, most of our events at the space will be free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. The obvious benefits of paying for a membership is having access to work and socialize at the space whenever you like.

If you’re interested in becoming a member of the RGD Space, please visit our Patreon and join there! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Rob at rocgamedevmeetup@gmail.com or fill out our contact form.
